Terms of use

Room4Resource introduces companies to crews. We check nobody, and section 2 says so plainly — please read that one.

These terms are between you and Evans AI Labs Ltd, company number 17348239, 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX — "we", "us", "Room4Resource". By registering you accept them.

1. What Room4Resource is

Room4Resource introduces companies in UK utilities — telecoms, power, water, gas and civils — to crews and subcontractors who say they are available for work.

We are an introduction service and nothing more. We are not a party to any contract you go on to make, not your agent, not your employer, and not the employer of anyone you are introduced to. We do not supply labour, we do not manage work, and we are not responsible for any of it being done.

2. Disclaimer — we match, we do not vet

Room4Resource carries out no due diligence on anybody, and accepts no responsibility for onboarding or due diligence. That is entirely yours.

Specifically, we do not check:

  • tickets, cards, certificates, accreditations or training records, or whether any of them are genuine or in date;
  • insurance of any kind, or its limits;
  • right to work in the UK, or immigration status;
  • company status, solvency, ownership, or whether a business is what it says it is;
  • competence, safety record, equipment, or fitness to carry out the work;
  • anything at all that anyone has typed into this platform.

Everything you see about a crew was entered by that crew about itself. Everything you see about a company was entered by that company. Expiry dates are what someone typed. A photograph of a card is a photograph, not a check.

Before anyone sets foot on your site, run your own onboarding, your own pre-qualification and your own checks, and see the originals. If you are relying on Room4Resource for that, you are relying on the wrong thing.

3. Registering

  • You must be a business, or a sole trader working in these sectors. Room4Resource is not for consumers.
  • Everything you enter must be true, and you must keep it up to date. Stale availability or a lapsed ticket left on your profile wastes other people's time and will get your account removed.
  • Each person signs in with their own email address. Do not share a login. A business account allows up to three logins; a sole trader gets one.
  • You are responsible for what is done under your logins.

4. Money

  • During the founding pilot, to 31 January 2027, Room4Resource is free to everyone. After that, companies may be charged to unlock a crew's contact details, or on a subscription. We will tell you the prices before we charge anything, and you will be able to leave on one month's notice.
  • Crews and workers never pay us, at any point. Not to register, not to be matched, not to be contacted, not to work.
  • Rates are not our business. We do not show them, ask for them, set them or take a share of them. What you agree to pay each other is between you, and so is invoicing, payment, and chasing payment.

5. Contact details, and how the introduction works

  • A crew's name and contact details are hidden until a company unlocks that crew against one of its own requirements.
  • Unlocking is a one-way introduction: the company makes the approach. A crew is not given the company's details and cannot approach the company through us.
  • Contact details you obtain this way are for approaching that crew about that work. Do not pass them on, add them to a list, or use them for anything else. Doing so ends your access.
  • We do not promise you will be matched, contacted, offered work, or that anyone will answer.

6. Reviews

  • Only a company that unlocked a crew against its own job may review it.
  • Reviews are read by us before they appear. We will not publish anything abusive, discriminatory, or about a named individual rather than the business, and we may decline one without giving a reason.
  • Keep to what happened. Ratings and comments must be honest, your own experience, and capable of being backed up.
  • A published review stays on the crew's profile. If you think one about you is unfair, tell us and a person will look at it.

7. Your content

What you upload stays yours. You give us permission to store it and to show it on the platform as this document and the privacy policy describe, for as long as your account is open. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to upload — including other people's cards or photographs without their agreement.

8. Things you must not do

  • Pretend to be someone else, or register a business you are not entitled to act for.
  • Scrape, copy or export other people's details, or try to get round the unlock.
  • Use the platform to advertise anything, or to approach people about anything other than the work.
  • Try to break the security, or look for data that is not yours.

9. Ending it

You can close your account whenever you like. We can suspend or end access if you break these terms, if what you have entered is untrue, or if your conduct puts others at risk — and immediately where safety or the law is involved.

10. Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Beyond that: the platform is provided as it is, during a free pilot, with no warranty. We are not liable for work that goes wrong, for anyone who does not turn up, for anyone who turns out not to hold what they claimed, for any contract you enter into, or for lost profit, business or opportunity. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the fees you have paid us in the previous 12 months, or £100.

This does not make anyone else's obligations ours. You remain responsible for your own duties as a client, contractor, employer or principal contractor — including under health and safety and CDM.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
